I don’t think my child needs an IEP anymore, now what?

Your child has an IEP, but you are not sure they still need services. You have the right to request an evaluation to re-evaluate if your child still requires special education services. As a parent, you also have the right to refuse services. However, you cannot pick and choose services that you want and do not want. Make sure you are very aware of what services your child has qualified for and why. This will help you stay knowledgeable as to why your child is still eligible for special education services, and how you can support growth at home and at school.
